Pre-press & fully In-House end to end
With a full prepress studio in house, we manage the entire process ourselves & from initial artwork briefing through to print-ready files, cylinder production and plate-making. One point of accountability, faster turnaround, no loss of control at a critical stage. Our in-house design studio handles colour separation, proofing and print-ready artwork across all major print processes. Rotogravure cylinders are engraved in-house, flexo plates are produced in-house, and offset plates are prepared in-house. Giving complete control over specification accuracy and lead time at every step.
Blown Film Production
On-site PE blown film extrusion gives complete control over the base substrate, ensuring specification consistency from raw film through to finished pack. By producing film in-house, we maintain full oversight of gauge, width, optical properties and surface treatment at the point of origin. Beyond PE extrusion, our partner network provides access to a broader range of film substrate capabilities & giving customers the flexibility to specify the right base material for their application without being limited to a single technology.
Metallisation
Vacuum metallisation applies ultra-thin aluminium coatings to films and papers, creating high-performance barrier properties against moisture, oxygen and light. Essential for products requiring extended shelf life and aroma protection & from coffee and snacks to dairy and ambient food categories. Metallisation is also a key enabler of sustainable material development, allowing barrier performance to be achieved in thinner, lighter structures & supporting downgauging and monomaterial transitions without compromising protection.
Extrusion Coating
Application of polymer coatings to film and paper substrates to enhance seal performance, barrier properties and structural integrity. A critical process for heat-sealable structures, paper-based recyclable solutions and advanced monomaterial developments. In-house extrusion coating capability allows precise control over coating weight, adhesion and compatibility & essential for structures needing to meet multiple performance criteria simultaneously, particularly in sustainable and recyclable specifications.
We give our customers access to all major print technologies in flexible packaging & rotogravure, HD flexo, EB offset CI and digital, giving unrivalled choice on the right print process for your product. Every process is available, and the right one is chosen based entirely on what fits the customer's product, portfolio and commercial requirements. We never push one technology over another. The customer gets the print solution that is right for their brand.
Lamination
Solvent-based and solvent-free lamination bonding two or more substrates into multi-layer flexible structures. Delivers the right combination of barrier, print, seal and structural properties required for each application & whether that is a conventional multilayer structure or an advanced sustainable specification. Solvent-free lamination is increasingly the preferred route for sustainable structures & reducing VOC emissions and enabling cleaner end-of-life profiles without compromising on performance.
Slitting, Finishing & Converting
High-capacity slitting to customer-specified reel widths, plus a full range of finishing and converting operations & including pouch making, bag making, laser perforation and embossing. Laser perforation enables controlled and modified atmosphere applications & essential for fresh produce, dairy and other categories requiring precise gas transmission. Embossing adds functional and aesthetic surface texture. Sufficient capacity allows genuine flexibility in delivery scheduling & a meaningful differentiator for brands managing complex, multi-market supply chains.
Logistics & strategic location. Reliable delivery.
Our manufacturing partners are strategically located in Central Europe, a position that provides a genuine, practical advantage for UK and EU customers. The UK can be reached within days from production. Mainland European markets are served with ease and short lead times. That geography is a commercial asset to our customers. Own transport capability operating directly from the production site along with UK based warehousing means the supply chain is managed end to end. Stock holding capacity gives the flexibility to support brands managing complex, multi-SKU portfolios and call-off arrangements. High OTIF performance underpins everything & what is specified arrives when it is needed, consistently.
Laboratories & advanced analytical capability across materials and performance
Our own full suite of advanced analytical laboratories provides complete in-house capability for material analysis, composition identification and performance testing & integrated into the production process, providing inter-operational control at every stage from raw material through to finished structure. Material and composition analysis includes FTIR spectroscopy for polymer identification, DSC for thermal analysis, and sensoric evaluation. Barrier performance testing covers OTR, WVTR and full permeability analysis & allowing us to develop, validate and trial novel materials before committing to production scale. Chemical and migration testing covers residual solvents, primary aromatic amines, OML, SML including Bisphenol A and phthalates, heavy metals, NIAS and mineral oils & in cooperation with an independent accredited external laboratory network for full regulatory compliance across all markets.
